Green Exterior Remodeling Installs Sunspace Sunrooms in Charlotte NC Ahead of Fall Sunroom Season

The Monroe-based contractor is an authorized Sunspace dealer and is scheduling three-season and four-season sunroom projects across the Charlotte area

CHARLOTTE, NC, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Green Exterior Remodeling, an exterior remodeling contractor based in Monroe, North Carolina, is installing Sunspace sunrooms in Charlotte NC as an authorized Sunspace dealer and is scheduling projects for the fall. The company builds across the Charlotte metro, including Matthews, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Waxhaw, Weddington, Huntersville, Concord and Gastonia.

Sunspace sunrooms from Green Exterior Remodeling come in two systems. Three-season rooms use single-pane glass or vinyl glazing and extend porch use into spring and fall. Four-season rooms use double-pane insulated Low-E glass in thermal-break powder-coated aluminum framing for use through the winter. Both systems use tempered safety glass, carry a manufacturer-backed warranty and are installed by certified crews.

A three-season room is not climate controlled and is comfortable from spring through fall. A four-season room is insulated and takes its own heating and cooling, usually a ductless mini-split, so it can be used as conditioned living space through the winter.

“October is when the phone starts ringing about sunrooms,” said Shaun Green, owner of Green Exterior Remodeling. “People sat on the screened porch all summer, the first cool week hits, and they realize they want that room for the rest of the year. A Sunspace room lets them keep it. We measure, the factory builds the panels to the opening, and our crew installs them.”

Most fall projects convert an existing covered porch rather than add a new room, according to the company. The roof and the slab are already in place, so the work is the wall system, the electrical and the finish.

“The porch is usually already there. The roof and the slab are done, so the job is the wall system, the electrical, and the trim. That is why a room that starts in October can still be finished before the holidays,” said the purchase and project manager at Green Exterior Remodeling.

Green Exterior Remodeling, LLC holds North Carolina general contractor license L.86017. The company holds a 4.7 rating across 170 Google reviews. Sunspace is a sunroom and outdoor-living manufacturer that sells through independent authorized dealers.
