Synteq Expands into Canada with New Toronto Region in partnership with Telehouse
PR Newswire
TORONTO, Oct. 27, 2026
Synteq launches its first Canadian location in Toronto, Ontario to provide compute, storage, and cloud services for Northeast and Canadian workloads.
TORONTO, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Synteq today announced its expansion into Canada with a new location in Toronto, through a partnership with Telehouse Canada. This is Synteq’s sixth location overall, following Spokane, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Valley Forge, and Sofia, Bulgaria. This expansion is a direct response to the growing demand from Synteq customers for Northeast and Canadian capacity.
Telehouse Canada, a subsidiary of KDDI Corporation, operates three interconnected, carrier-neutral data centres in downtown Toronto providing Synteq direct access to TorIX, CANIX and an ecosystem of more than 200 carriers, ISPs, and cloud on-ramps.
Synteq owns and operates its hardware and network and sells compute directly to developers and operators running compute workloads. In Toronto, that means dedicated GPU servers, virtual machines, and block storage on Synteq-owned equipment, provisioned by API, CLI, or consoled via Synteq Cloud; its single control plane for provisioning, management, and billing. If requested by clients, data and workloads provisioned in the Toronto data center will be capable of remaining in Canada.
“Expanding into Canada was a decision driven by organic demand from our client base,” said Eric Yingling, Chief Executive Officer of Synteq. “Toronto gives us the power density current GPUs need, alongside the right connectivity for Northeast US and Canada-focused workloads.”
“We’re excited to partner with Synteq and take part in their Canadian expansion,” said Atsushi Kubo, President and CEO of Telehouse Canada. “This partnership reflects our shared commitment to delivering the infrastructure Canadian enterprises need to confidently deploy AI and compute workloads.”
